They filmed this in Canada. Richard is apparently dropped on top of a mountain, and James and Jeremy go to rescue him in pickup trucks (JM in the Chevy Silverado and JC a Hennessey Velociraptor).

The bumpers are real chrome and nothing else is. Grill,trim,bug deflector are all plasti chrome
